Kristine is a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with an LMSW and LMAC. She holds a Bachelor of General Studies from WSU and a Master of Social Work from Newman University. Kristine has worked at MHA for over 3 years and in social services for over 10 years. With a holistic approach to therapy, she focuses on treating the whole person rather than just addressing symptoms. Specializing in working with adults (18+), Kristine offers support for a wide range of issues, including mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, ADHD, anger management, depression, and anxiety. Her therapeutic practice integrates several evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to meet each client’s unique needs. Kristine is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all clients, including those from LGBTQ+ communities. She strives to provide culturally competent care that respects and honors each person’s identity and experiences. By blending these approaches with a client-centered, empathetic perspective, Kristine aims to empower individuals to achieve emotional resilience and lead fulfilling lives. She is dedicated to helping clients explore their challenges, develop coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Kristine considers herself to be a lifelong student of human behavior, philosophy, and motivation. She enjoys growing her knowledge by reading, attending workshops, as well as consultation from her peers.
