Cynthia graduated from Newman University with a Masters degree in Social Work, and obtained her Clinical Social Work license as well. Cynthia has worked with children and families involved in child welfare and foster care situations and worked to support these individuals in coping with their traumatic events. Cynthia has also supported children, adults, and working professionals who may be struggling with new or ongoing mental conditions, and supports them therapeutically, as well as with community resources to assist in their overall personal and family needs. Cynthia uses a variety of client centered therapeutic skills to assist her clients, including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Strengths Based Therapy. Cynthia believes that working together in a therapeutic relationship can be powerful in helping individuals be successful in moving forward in life.
